Well, first of all, Happy New Year everyone!! hop all of you are having a great start of the year with the mind focus on achieving your goals !! let’s do it!!. In this first post of the year, I wanted to share with you something that I have always tried to do, but only until now I got the time to organize and sit calmly to write.WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU ONLY HAD 6 MONTHS TO LIVE? Bucket list
A Bucket List, is a way that gives you to organize, list and dream all the things that you want even the craziest thing you can imagine. If it’s really something that you want to live, do or have, So it will happen and you will achieve it. What if you have only 6 months old to live , what would you do ?? Well, I hope this is not the case, but put yourself in some extreme situation that gives you the push of inspiration to write what your soul really wants to do.
What better opportunity to start this new year than to take an afternoon with a tea and in the place that you like the most, to give free rein to your imagination and concrete those things that you want to materialize. You can make a single list of 50, 80 or 100 things you want to do in general in your life.
But if you are like me, who likes to classify things, you can make multiple lists of categories, for example
This is for me the first list to do. Since I started traveling alone 10 years ago, i have the clear conviction that traveling and experiences are the best way to learn. Write down all the places you want to visit and the experiences you always have been dreaming of. Going to the top of the Eiffel tower, swim with dolphins, watch a sunset in Africa, run a marathon, live in another country. Put the traveler hat not the tourist one.
PERSONAL AND MENTAL GROWTH
For this list, focus on the things you feel will help you to growth as a person and will give you experiences to improve your life. Having a house, create a business, change your eating habits, change your look, study no matter the age, learn a new language, meditate everyday. Don’t forget to add all the things that you are afraid of; jump from a plane, write a book, talk with strangers. Remember that if you face your fears will give you the confidence to do anything!!
Having everything isn’t worth it, if you do not share or do things for others. There is nothing more satisfying than helping others in one way or another. Create a list of things you feel you can contribute to society. Volunteering in another country, painting the walls of your neighborhood, teaching children, creating a foundation, feeding people on the street, teaching someone to read and write … Remember that in giving, the universe will multiply it.
At the end, it is not just write and forget about the list, you have to make it known, ask for help and work every day so you can cross it off your list.
